Pupils help decorate Community Christmas Tree

To celebrate the first Christmas in the newly transformed Middlesbrough Town Hall, schools were invited to help deck the halls of the Community Christmas Tree in the foyer.

Organised as part of the Reading Promise, which aims to make reading a priority for families in Middlesbrough, school children attended a free workshop where they made decorations based on their favourite Christmas book.

Pupils from Abingdon and Breckon Hill enjoyed the festive activities hosted by staff at the Town Hall and David Tuffnell from Middlesbrough Council.  A big thank you to those who took part.
