What does your child want to be when they grow up?

What did you want to be when you were growing up? A librarian, a firefighter, a hairdresser, a shopkeeper, a doctor…..we all had dreams and our children have dreams too. Asking them what they want to be when they are bigger can be a really entertaining (and important!) chat!

We all want the best for our children. We all want to see our children achieve and reach for the stars. The things we do now really help our children to achieve their dreams, no matter how little our children might seem. Getting the most from school (even pre-school!) can change how our children see the world and get on in life.

I’m late, I’m late, for a very important day!

Every parent knows how hard it can be sometimes getting our children to school on time, sometimes our children are tired and on ‘go slow’ but getting them to school on time really makes a difference to their learning and how they feel for the rest of the day!

So getting up that little bit earlier really does pay off and makes you and your children feel ready to take on the day ahead!

Missing school is missing out!

Children do so much in a school day, our children are sponges and love to find out and learn new things from reading to times tables, discovering local history to learning about the Romans and how to draw the world, not to mention the great and new friendships they can make! Sometimes children get poorly (we are not talking sniffles or a grazed knee!) and that’s fine, but when our children miss school regularly this can really affect what they can achieve and the results they finish school with.
