Dorman Museum has been the host of a special Storyteller event, held for children and their families during half term.
The event is supported the Reading Promise – a partnership of education, health, literacy and community professionals. Building on the work of the National Literacy Trust, it aims to improve the life chances of our youth by encouraging children and young people to reach their maximum potential through reading.
The Storyteller led the fun session in the Dorman Museum’s Garden Reading Den in the Education Suite and the topic of the day was animal stories.
The event was part of the museum’s half term programme which will continue until 31st May. For more information on upcoming events, check out the website.
