Developing pupil outcomes through Global Issues across the Tees Valley
June 18, 2018 @ 9:00 am - 10:30 am| Free
Come and join in the Thornaby learning walk to see how Global Learning can improve pupil outcomes. This is part of a series of week long events which makes up one of the largest learning walks in the Tees Valley.
You are invited to send your teachers and teaching assistants to any session in the participating schools to see practical ideas on how to improve pupil outcomes through Global Learning.
All sessions are from 9am-10:30am for refreshments followed by a chance to go and take part in a learning walk across the school to see how global learning can improve pupil outcomes. You will have plenty of opportunities to talk to staff and see practical ideas to improve areas such as writing and promoting a broad and balanced curriculum through teaching Global Learning.
Events are taking place all week at a number of schools. Other events can be found on the event calendar.
The first event will take place on Monday 18th June at Christ the King Primary in Thornaby.
Focus: writing and outdoor learning through Global Learning.
To book a visit on any of the learning walks, email Mrs Eddies (Head Teacher at St. Clare’s Primary) email@example.com and state the school you would like to visit and the person attending. There are no limits to how many staff and all events are free.
